Last Friday, the O’Reilly Group held its first ever Sports Day event, and it was an absolute triumph! The day provided a wonderful opportunity for staff to reconnect with colleagues they may not see often across the company.

The event was packed with a variety of fun-filled activities that kept everyone engaged and entertained. From penalty shootouts to relay races, the day was a perfect blend of excitement and friendly competition. The tug of war was a standout, with teams getting maybe a little too competitive, while the team-building exercises allowed everyone to get involved.

Participants were divided into teams, which added an extra layer of competition to the day. The friendly rivalry among teams created an electric atmosphere, with everyone striving to earn bragging rights as the inaugural Sports Day champions.

Team 4 and Team 5 ended the day in a tie. To determine the ultimate winner, we resorted to a unique tie-breaker: a welly throw. In the end, Team 4 (Sadaif, Leanne, Jennifer, Darren and Lynda) emerged victorious, their wellies soaring the farthest and earning them first place.

Thanks to you, we have now established a new yearly tradition that will surely become a highlight on our company calendar.
