The O’Reilly Group Supports Local Men’s Sheds with €4,000 in Donations

We are thrilled to share that the O’Reilly Group has made generous contributions to two local Men’s Sheds, with Kingscourt Men’s Shed and Mullagh Men’s Shed each receiving €2,000. This substantial donation was made possible through the success of our recent Movember fundraising campaign and the incredible generosity of our donors.

Supporting Community Well-being

Our Precast Director, Terry Farrelly, along with Caríosa Sullivan and Kevin Farrelly from our Marketing team, had the honor of presenting the cheques to the Men’s Sheds. This visit was more than just a formal presentation—it was an opportunity to connect with the members, share stories, and appreciate the inspiring work being done within these community spaces. Over a comforting cup of tea, we got to see firsthand how these workshops are making a difference in the lives of many.

Kingscourt Men’s Shed

At Kingscourt Men’s Shed, we had the pleasure of meeting Gene Maguire, Patrick Kennedy, John Carolan, and Seamus Bennett. Their dedication and the camaraderie they share are truly inspiring. The Shed is a place where skills are shared, friendships are forged, and mental well-being is supported.

Mullagh Men’s Shed

In Mullagh, we were welcomed by John Gaynor, Jim Cooney, James Lea, Christy Dowel, Philip Reilly, and Jarome Cathcart. The sense of community and the impressive projects undertaken by the members highlight the important role the Shed plays in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
